Are you one of the sensible people who waits until the kids have gone back to school before going on holiday?

Cheaper prices, quieter airports and considerably fewer children launching themselves into the swimming pool. Honestly, you might be onto something.

If you’re going away and your pets are staying at home, I offer friendly, reliable drop-in visits for cats and other small animals. I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter trays, medication if needed, playtime, cuddles—or respectful admiration from a distance for the cats who consider human interaction beneath them.

Visits can be arranged once or twice a day, depending on what your pets need, so they can stay comfortable in their own home while you enjoy your sensibly timed, hopefully peaceful holiday.

A few of the faces keeping me busy lately!

Big dogs, little dogs, speedy walks, sniffy walks and plenty of muddy paws in between.

I offer regular and ad-hoc dog walks around the Five Towns area, so whether you need someone every week or just occasionally when you’re at work, out for the day or simply can’t manage the walk yourself, just get in touch.

I also offer pet pop-ins for dogs, cats and other pets if a full walk isn’t what you need.

Fully insured, DBS checked and, most importantly, very happy spending most of my working day with animals.

Don’t fancy walking in the rain? I don’t mind it!

If you’ve got a day when you’re busy, stuck at work, have plans - or you simply look out of the window and think ‘absolutely not’ - I have availability for ad-hoc dog walks.

There’s no need to commit to regular walks (although if you want to that’s great). Just get in touch when you need me and if I have space I can take your dog(s) out - rain or shine.

30 minutes or one hour walks available. I’m fully insured and DBS checked, covering Normanton WF6 and surrounding areas.

A tired puppy is a happy puppy… apparently these two took that VERY seriously!

Young puppies don’t always need longer and longer walks to tire them out — using their brains can be just as exhausting!

Sniffing games, short training sessions, food puzzles, hide-and-seek with treats and letting them explore new sights and smells are all great ways to keep little minds busy without overdoing the exercise.

And sometimes the result is this… completely conked out on top of your best mate.

Every dog enjoys something different… for Otis, it’s taking his time, having a good sniff, and making sure he stops for a well-earned drink along the way!

One of the things I love most about dog walking is getting to know each dog’s personality and giving them the kind of walk that suits them best.

A busy day of happy dogs at Five Towns Dog Walking 🐾

Robin enjoyed exploring the park today, while Otis stopped for a very well-earned drink during his walk.

I offer both regular walks and occasional bookings, so you don’t need to commit to the same walk every week. I’m always happy to help when work runs late, plans change or your dog simply needs an extra outing.

Every dog is different: some want a lively adventure, while others would happily spend the entire walk investigating one particularly interesting patch of grass!

Moments like this are just as important as the zoomies. 💕

One of the best things puppies can learn is how to relax around other dogs. Calm interactions help them build confidence, develop good manners, and understand that they don’t always have to be bouncing around to enjoy each other’s company.

These two had a lovely play together in the garden before settling down side by side for a little rest in the shade. 🥹🐶 It’s wonderful to see puppies learning that being around other dogs can be calm, fun and positive.
