Such a sad way bless them, we are always careful to over exercise Wolfie before or after eating for around 2 'hours, bloat is such and awful quick way for dogs to die 😢
On Wednesday afternoon, our beloved PD Jura fell seriously ill with a suspected case of Gastric Torsion. His handler PC Sewell, acted immediately and rushed him to the emergency vets, where the team worked tirelessly to provide urgent care and performed surgery.
Although there was initial hope for his recovery, we are heartbroken to share the devastating news that PD Jura has sadly passed away with his handler by his side.
This loss has come as a profound shock to us all, and most especially to Jura’s family. In losing Jura, we have not only lost a treasured member of our team — we have lost a true hero.
We kindly ask for your understanding and compassion during this deeply difficult time, as we grieve the passing of a courageous and loyal companion within our police family.
