Gorgeous ginger Nelly’s owner reached out for help with her lead walking. Her owner is visually impaired so sorting this out was paramount.
We had a session previously and put some foundations in place for them to work on safely and I went back today for a follow up session.
I am genuinely super impressed at the progress they have made! They absolutely smashed their homework!

What a wonderful team they are! I couldn’t be prouder! 🎉

They have more homework to work on before I see them again next week. 👌

This little cutie pie is very worried when she see’s other dogs.
It’s incredibly hard for her owner to just step out the house and take her for a walk as they live on a really busy road.

Soooooo….”operation help Luna feel better ” has begun.

We are using Scent Support to help us with this process alongside a behaviour modification plan.

When dogs are actively and honestly searching it affects the part of their brain responsible for emotions and memories. We can use this in a very specific way to give us more opportunity to help dogs feel better about things that they have big feelings about.

I have a question for my lovely followers😜

How many of you are actively participating in some sort of scent activity with your dogs?
If not….is there any particular reason?
(This is not a trick question, I’m genuinely interested/nosey 🤣)

EDIT…I mean ANY kind of sniffing activity, not necessarily in a class setting 👍🏻
