Who’s up for a relaxed dog walk this August? 🤎🐾

My first official Social Dog Walk will be next month at Tredegar House.

It’ll be a calm, slow morning with a small group of dogs (+ humans) so it feels comfortable for everyone.

I’m SUPER excited for this - a lovely chance to get your steps in and meet some new doggos (+ people) ☀️

Another busy week doing what I LOVE 🫶🏻

I visited Newport City Dogs Home to get some content for Friends of Newport Dogs 🐾🧡 - a charity I support that helps the wonderful dogs in their care prepare for life beyond kennels. Something I’m very passionate about!!

I met Mungo, Midge & Mary… three tiny chis with three very different personalities and the sweetest little faces 🥹

Then there’s the lads - Freddie full steam ahead, Arlo giving me the best welcome (lots of excitement and displacement 😂), Cosmo being my precious woodland explorer, and Sonny ALWAYS giving me the best welcome home 😂

Last week was such a mix of everything I LOVE 💛

Enjoying the woodland with Cosmo. He had me in stitches bounding through the streams like a little lunatic, and we both ended up pretty filthy🤣

Lola Bear was the sweetest little floof. She reminds me so much of the white dog from The Secret Life of Pets 🫣 She’s SO clever with her commands and had the bestest time with the snuffle ball and doggy bubbles.

Another meet & greet with the chunkiest, most handsome black lab who cwtched into my side within minutes. Pets are so intuitive… I always pay attention to their judgement of people - they really do know 💁‍♀️

And I even got to meet the FONDS social media team, which was SO lovely.

Honestly, seeing the dogs happy makes me so happy - it’s infectious 💛

Also, I have some exciting developments coming later this week too… so watch this space🐕‍🦺

Although the heatwave has paused many dog walks (their safety will ALWAYS come first), it’s still been such a lovely few days 💛

Sunday was an amazing experience - Beechwood Park was bustling, full of friendly faces and a bit of Ska. With the warm weather, lots of pups stayed safely at home, but so many of you still picked up treats and I was sent some photos of your dogs enjoying them. Honestly, it made my day.

Had a trial walk with Cosmo and I cannot wait for more little adventures with him.

This week has been exciting and BUSY - the heatwave hasn’t stopped me. There have been a few lovely developments that I’m really glad to share. I recently had my introduction with Paws in the Paddock🐾 | Private Dog Field and now have my membership; secure field sessions may be added on to my 60‑minute solo walks or future group walks.

I’ve been getting everything ready for my stall at the Music in the Park event at Beechwood this Sunday, so if anyone is attending, come say hi! I’m selling pet treats, and there’ll be an adult raffle (£1 a ticket - prize is a gift card for my services, a pet treat bag, and a cute pet bandana).

There are also children’s raffles: the main one has an adorable Dalmatian plush (I LOVED 101 Dalmatians growing up, so that definitely influenced my choice), and a mini raffle for the cutest hamster keychain.

I’m hoping to have a donation bucket for Newport City Dogs Home Rehoming on my stall too, along with fresh water for the dogs and limited pup cups for anyone that decides to bring their pups along.

As lovely as it would be to see all the dogs, please be careful in this heat - they don’t regulate temperature as “easily” as we do. I don’t know about you but I have been melting.

Got to have cuddles with this crazy boy too - definitely too warm for walkies this week, but he keen about sofa snuggles.

Started the day at Newport City Dogs Home Rehoming open day - gorgeous dogs, lovely people, and a real community feel 💛 I also met some of the lovely Friends of Newport Dogs 🐾🧡 team before heading out for an ad‑hoc visit with Banksy to make sure he was walked, fed and watered - my favourite chunky sniff‑enthusiast. Alongside my pet‑care services, I’m now supporting FONDS with their social media and events too which I am excited about.
