Missed my gang this weekend but I’m back from tomorrow 🐾
Had a little ad‑hoc walk with this gorgeous boy so his humans could enjoy a date without worrying about him.
His little pitter patter gets me every time.
Looking forward to more walks with him - Banksy really is the most clever and creative doggo.
Availability through the week - none Saturday, limited Sunday.

Would you believe this handsome big boy is still a puppy? 🄹

Meet Moose šŸ’›

Moose was out with me today - big boy, but still very much a baby. You honestly wouldn’t believe he is a puppy, he walks so beautifully.

He kept doing these little over-the-shoulder checks like, ā€œyou still there?ā€

Then the rain arrived and he was immediately like, ā€œokay, that’s enough, home time NOWā€.

It’s been such a lovely week - walking my regulars, meeting Moose and Nala, and finally starting my volunteering at Newport City Dogs Home. I had the pleasure of meeting Penny, Friday and Duncan - all such special dogs with their own little personalities, and I know whoever they end up with will be absolutely smitten šŸ’›
I even squeezed in some birthday celebrating too. Feeling very grateful for all the sweet moments this week.
I’ve got a little availability this week if anyone needs a walk or visit ✨

HAPPY FRIDAY… from Friday himself šŸ¾šŸ˜‚
I met this lovely boy Newport City Dogs Home Rehoming today and he honestly had me laughing throughout our walk - rolling around on his back and just full of joy. This little clip is only a snippet of how much he brightened my day.
I also got to walk another gorgeous dog called Duncan - such a lovely pair to spend time with.
Volunteering is ALREADY bringing so many lovely (and hilarious) moments šŸ’›

Meet Albert - the latest (and youngest) member of the gang.
He’s still very much a baby, which means he’s a whole bundle of excitement 🄹
He won my little bank holiday giveaway I hosted a while back… but honestly, I think I won too 🤣
Just look at those droopy ears and soft eyes.
I’m really looking forward to spending more time with this lovely boy! šŸ’›

Slow Sundays with Sonny šŸ’¤šŸ¾
He’s having a snooze while I’m catching up on a bit of admin and planning ahead.
I’ve got space for dog walks, cat drop‑ins and small animal visits - whether you need a one‑off helping hand or something more regular.
I’m also looking forward to a little meet‑and‑greet later this week, so if you’d like to arrange one too, just give me a shout šŸ’›

I’ve had a few questions about my pricing and what’s included, so I thought I’d share it properly šŸ’›

Every pet is different, so I’ve kept my services simple and flexible - from short walks to longer adventures, puppy visits, cat drop‑ins and future secure‑field sessions.
I want everything to feel easy to understand while I grow my little business.

If you’re unsure which service would suit your pet best, get in touch - happy to help.

A little hello from me (and of course, Sonny) 🐾

Today was meant to be my polished introduction post - business jumper on, a nice pose, Sonny being adorable on cue (which, to be fair, he always is). I had this whole idea in my head of looking like a put‑together pet care professional lol šŸ‘€

Reality? It’s far too hot for any of that. I tried using a selfie stick (lol), which Sonny absolutely loves, and I absolutely do not. I’m just not big on taking selfies at the best of times, never mind in a heatwave.

So instead, here’s me on the sofa feeling awkward, no business jumper in sight, and very grateful Sonny didn’t try to sit on me like he usually does - not because I don’t love it, but because it’s simply too hot šŸ”„

I’m usually behind the camera or actually in the middle of whatever I’m doing. I’m much more of a ā€œbe present and get stuck inā€ person. But it felt like the right time to show the face behind the business, especially if you’ll be trusting me with your wonderful pets.

So… hi! I’m Lauren šŸ‘‹
I’m really looking forward to meeting lots of special pets across Newport, giving them all the love, care, and attention they deserve, and hopefully becoming someone you feel comfortable calling when your furry family members need a walk, a visit, or just a friendly face. šŸ’›
Sonny and I are excited to meet you all - awkward sofa selfies and all.

Every pet has their own way of being - and I follow their lead (yes, pun intended) šŸ‘€
Growing up with animals has taught me that no two pets are the same, and working with so many wonderful characters is a constant reminder of that.

Stanley is one of the most chilled dogs I’ve ever met.
Loves affection, happy to potter along, and absolutely convinced he can carry an entire branch home from the river. Not a stick - the actual branch in the little clip. The confidence is impressive.

Being around pets like him has shown me how important it is to accept who they are while giving them the gentle guidance and structure they need to feel safe and settled.
Not letting them run wild, but working with their personality rather than against it.

I’m comfortable with most dogs, cats and small pets -
the shy ones who take time to feel confident,
the ā€œhere I am, love meā€ types,
the older dears who enjoy a slower pace,
the cats who want space,
and the ones who want the opposite and glue themselves to you (like my boy Sonny).

I don’t take on aggressive dogs or pets who need intensive behavioural training at this time - they deserve someone specialised in that area.
But if your pet thrives with attention, understanding, patience and a calm, steady approach, I’m sure we’ll get on well šŸ’›

I’d love to hear about your pets - what’s their little personality like?
