We are still seeing so many people walking their dogs in this heat ☀️🐾

Please remember — if it’s too hot for you, it’s far too hot for them. Hot pavements can burn paws in seconds and heat stroke can become life-threatening very quickly.

🐶 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water🌳 Keep them in the shade where possible🚗 Never leave dogs in cars — even for a minute

If your dog is panting excessively, drooling, weak, vomiting, or struggling in the heat, contact us immediately.

☀️🐶 HOT WEATHER ALERT 🐶☀️
Please remember — if you’re feeling the heat, your dogs are too! 🐾
Here are a few simple ways to keep your Best friend safe and cool during this heatwave:

💧Make sure they always have fresh, cold water
🌳 Walk them early morning or later in the evening
🔥 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🍦 Treat them to dog-friendly frozen snacks
🏡 Keep them in shaded, cool areas indoors or outside
🚫 NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes. A cracked window is not enough. On a hot day your car can get up to 60°.

Watch for signs of overheating:
⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Lethargy
⚠️ Vomiting
⚠️ Unconsciousness

I WILL NOT put your dogs life at risk! During this heatwave I will be changing to drop ins for clients that are home alone if it is too hot to walk them and some walks may have to be cancelled for clients that have owners home with them. Plans will change according to the weather and your dogs safety will always be top priority ❤️
