I haven't had my own horse now for 18 years but when I did, I mostly hacked, schooled and entered local showing classes. The one thing I've always regretted was not attempting cross country. Didn't have to compete eg hunter trials, even a schooling session would have done.

If I was to get another horse now, I would try endurance riding I think.

Want to do shows or other competitions with your horse but need a helping hand? I can be there for you, from deep cleaning your tack, bathing ahead of the day, finishing touches on the day and/or a second pair of hands 👐at the show.

I can also offer lungeing and long reining to help keep your horse ticking over while you are away.

I am a qualified groom, and I am DBS checked and fully insured. I cover an area 30mins from Drefach Felindre SA44, from Cardigan and Crymych to Carmarthen Aberaeron, Lampeter, and most areas in between.

Looking after these 3 very different cats. The little tabby has been very friendly and likes to lick, while the other 2 have been a bit more timid. After a couple of visits, the black one is hiding under the bed less now and is actually more likely to stop for a stroke than the black with white paws, so a bit of a swap, compared to yesterday. My little tabby friend is coming more and more inquisitive and friendly

This year I am planning to offer a petsitting service to a select few local holiday accommodation establishments eg caravan parks, glamping sites, holiday cottages, for those dog owners who would like to explore, or eat somewhere that doesn't allow dogs. As most holiday places don't allow their guests to leave dogs unattended, I will be offering a service to stay with the dog(s) while their family went out.

While my normal sitting services are available up to 30 minutes from SA44 5YH, this service I would like to keep more local to Drefach Felindre/Newcastle Emlyn area, depending on the establishments interested. Details are to be worked out in the coming weeks before holiday season gets too busy.

If anyone has, or knows of, a relevant place that might be interested in offering this service for their guests, then please get in touch.

I am delighted to announce that the winner of this summer's raffle prize was Zoe Collins-Rees, who was delighted to receive the prize yesterday.

The raffle raised £50 for Second Chances Animal Sanctuary, that I hope they can make some good use of coming in to winter now.
