It's going to be hot hot hot over the coming weeks - especially this coming weekend.
Please be extra cautious with your pets in the heat. And if you suspect they have heatstroke 'get them wet, then see your vet'!

🔥 HEAT STROKE 🥵

As the weather is becoming rather toasty, please be aware when walking your furry four - legged friends! ☀️🐾🐶

🟠 Walk them when the temperatures are cooler, either first thing in the morning or late in the evening.
🟠 Ensure cool water is available to drink at all times
🟠 Stay off the pavements during the warmer weather, the concrete absorbs heat and can burn their paws

Any signs of the vomiting or diarrhoea, excessive drooling, heavy panting , drowsy and uncoordinated can indicate your pooch is over- heating! 🥵

🔴'Get them wet, then see the vet' 🔴

Start cooling your dog with running cold water all over their body avoiding their head, then contact your vet immediately. 🚿💧💦
