Calling all cat owners! Could your feline friend be the purrfect donor?📢😺

We are asking all cat owners in the region to consider whether their pet is suitable for becoming a blood donor to help keep blood stocks at a healthy level.

For your cat to be suitable, they must meet the criteria below:

🎂 Aged between one and eight
⚖️ Weighing more than 4.5kg
🩸 They must not have received a blood transfusion themselves
💉 Up-to-date with vaccinations and flea treatment
🗺️ Have not travelled abroad
💪 Healthy and not on medication
😸 Comfortable and relaxed with people
