Due to the high temperatures expected this week, I kindly recommend rescheduling any upcoming microblading appointments where possible.

Excessive heat, sweating, sun exposure, swimming pools, and prolonged moisture are not advised during the healing process, as they can affect pigment retention and overall healed results.

To ensure your brows heal beautifully and achieve the best outcome possible, I want to provide the most suitable conditions for your treatment and aftercare.

Prep your skin first

Glitter sticks far better on:

* slightly tacky skin
* primed eyelids
* moisturized collarbones/shoulders

Avoid heavy oily skincare right before applying glitter or it slides around.

Use the right adhesive

Different areas need different products:

Face & body

* cosmetic glitter glue
* mixing medium
* aloe vera gel (good budget option)
* vaseline

Hair

* hair gel
* edge control
* clear brow gel for tiny sections

Avoid

* craft glue
* lash glue over large areas
* hairspray directly on loose glitter

Chunky + fine glitter layering

This is the trick that makes glitter look expensive instead of flat.

Use:

1. fine shimmer base
2. medium glitter
3. chunky reflective pieces on top

The light catches differently and photographs much better.

Placement tricks that photograph amazingly

Around the eyes

Best placements:

* outer corners
* under-eye line
* floating crease
* temple sweep

Avoid packing thick chunky glitter directly on the mobile lid unless it’s cosmetic-safe.

Collarbone glitter

A classic festival trick:

1. body oil or lotion
2. dab glitter on collarbones and shoulders
3. add highlighter underneath

Looks incredible in sunlight.

Freckles

Tiny glitter dots across the nose and cheeks give a softer festival look.

Hairline sparkle

Tap glitter into the hair parting or baby hairs with gel.

Make it last all day

Press β€” don’t wipe

Use fingers or a flat brush and press glitter into adhesive.

Set strategically

* setting spray around glitter
* not soaking directly on top

Carry a mini repair kit

Bring:

* cotton buds
* mini glue
* pressed glitter pot

Festival heat and sweat always create gaps.

UV and holographic glitter

For night festivals:

* UV neon glitter glows under blacklight
* holographic silver reflects stage lights best
* iridescent glitter gives that fairy look in daylight

Removal trick (important)

Never scrub glitter off dry.

Best method:

1. oil cleanser or coconut oil
2. microfiber cloth/cotton pad
3. wash normally afterward

Tape also works for stubborn body glitter.
