So going in to new year, as mentioned, I want to address how laid back I’ve been in regard to trusting customers to book their dogs on a reasonable schedule. I’ve also tried very hard to keep my costs more or less the same, even with cost of equipment soaring literally over night.
It’s only a few who do go way over schedule but last year, it too often had a negative effect on my customers who are sticking to a schedule which is why it’s so important for me to address.
For example: if the first app of the day is way over schedule then that app takes longer which effects the rest of my appointments for rest of the day as they have to be pushed back, this results in my work not being to the standard I want, rushing and stressing and going against the relaxed environment I like to create for your fur babies.
This post gives you a guideline of how long you should be going between grooms but this is JUST A GUIDELINE. I still trust my customers to make judgement on when their dog needs to be booked in. (For example you cannot wait 10 weeks for a curly thick Cocapoo)
Going forward if you have gone well over schedule and it means my other dogs have been pushed back then there will be a charge as it is not fair on others.
Wait times for app is usually around 2 weeks so keep this in mind when requesting an appointment.
I can give each individual customers information about their dog’s coat upon request, again this post is just a guideline
THANK YOU FOR READING ☺️🐶
