KD's Dog Training I offer dog training services throughout Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire & parts of Angus.

I offer 1-2-1 private sessions and run Basic Obedience/puppy classes (currently in Montrose & Stonehaven) For further information check out the website.

On Tuesday 7th April we said goodbye to the O.G.

Sally definitely came to be a very important dog in my work life and a loving, crazy companion in my family life. She will be sorely missed by myself and my kids.

I'm very proud of the training journey we took together which resulted in her being one of my "stooge dogs" for client sessions, and she also would come out for Basic Obedience/group class from time to time. In the latter years she became so reliable, smart and competent - she was my rock and we had each other's backs.

Good evening folks!
I hope everyone had a lovely Xmas and New Year - I had a lovely break to recharge my batteries and I am ready to see all the dogs again! However - winter has truly decided to show up the last few days in Aberdeen & Shire.
With the Amber weather warning now extended through to at least Monday, 5th January at the moment, I’ve made the hard decision to cancel dog walks tomorrow. This is our policy to ensure the safety of the dogs (and mine) during this wintry weather.
I’ll continue to monitor the conditions and will keep you updated with decisions as we go. Thank you for your understanding - keep warm and dry!!

Even though we are on a break, we still practice our skills such as "Place" when we're out and about. I saw these fairly evenly spaced tree stumps and couldn't resist 😆. The OG was not happy as she's enjoying retirement mode but was appeased with a cheese reward afterwards 😄

That is me officially on holiday for 2 weeks from now. Time to recharge the batteries and spend a bit of time with my family (furry and human).

Santa will be there so get that Xmas photo of your dog for your album! (reactive and nervous dogs catered for Santa photos).

KD's Animal Care is happy to announce that space in my diary has opened up which will allow for the creation of some new group dog walk availability.

From the 5th January 2026, I will be able to offer the following:

Monday - 60 minute walk 1-2pm (group max. 4 dogs, 3 spaces available)

Wednesday - 60 minute walk 1-2pm (group max. 4 dogs, 3 spaces available)

There is also availability from now for group walks on a Friday as follows:
Friday - 60 minute walk 11- 12pm (group max. 4 dogs, 3 spaces available) & 60 minute walk 1-2pm (group max. 4 dogs, 4 spaces available).

Group walks require dogs to be friendly with their group mates, have a good level of recall and are happy to travel in a vehicle.

Cost is £15 per dog per hour. Please note I can only currently cover non ULEZ areas only at this time. Free Meet & Greet.

Fully insured with years of experience working with dogs in capacities such as owner, fosterer, walker and trainer.

Please feel free to get in contact if you would like to enquire about a space for your dog.
