We have huge exciting news!!! We have convinced our super lovely friend from down South to come up north especially for us!! 🥳

Carrie-Anne is coming to judge at our 2 day show on 25th & 26th July! (show details coming soon)
While she is here she will be teaching 2 hoopers workshops.

24th July - hoopers workshops
4.30pm and 6.30pm
Each workshop is 2 hrs.
£45

We will also have some spectator spaces available to book.
£15 for both sessions (4hrs)

For those that don’t know, Carrie-Anne is the founder of Canine Hoopers World, she regularly judges and competes herself and has for a number of years. She has a very popular podcast channel and has been a dog trainer pretty much forever 🤣🤣 there’s not much she hasn’t seen!

Looking for a fun way to bond with your dog, pick up some great training tips, and enjoy a well-deserved treat? We’ve got the perfect Monday morning lined up for you.

Drop the kids at school, leave the morning rush behind, and come spend some quality, one-on-one time with your favorite four-legged friend!

Here is what you need to know about our Cake & Trainclasses:

⏰ When: Every Monday at 9:45 AM
📍 Where: Treuddyn
🐶 Who: All dogs, ages, and training levels are welcome.

🐾 Tailored to You: We keep our class sizes small so we can customise the training to focus on exactly what you and your dog need to work on.

These power hours are starting next Wednesday and every Wednesday after that at 7pm.

At the Willow park in Hope ( LL12 9NL).

Single sessions so you can book as many as you want, book them all if you really want to.

Well that's a wrap!
Our Four Paws Up to Cancer fundraising ended this morning with Parkour on the beach followed by a walk to get Emma to her total of 200 miles walked in May.

Nice early start to miss any heat, the dogs had a fun time learning parkour on the beach.

Then a nice surprise for Emma as we cheered her to her very own finish line.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this month, I think you all know by now how much it means to us all at Barking Mad.

There is a few more bits of money to come in but as of right now the grand total is
£2855!

Part of it will be going to Maggies North Wales and part will be going to the cancer unit at Glan Clwyd hospital.

Update on Emmas 200 mile walk:
I'm not going to lie guys, the past few days have been really tough with the miles. I'm tired, my sciatica is playing up and even though I LOVE the hot weather and sunshine, this week's weather with working in a hot sauna (aka home office) has kicked my ass! BUT then I remember why I'm doing this..... This is something far greater and more important than me. This is to help support the too many number of people and their families going through and living with cancer. For the people in constant pain, both emotional and physical, who maybe don't have the luxury of being able to walk these miles and those who have suffered loss and need the ongoing support.
My tough week walking is nothing compared to what others are going through, so I pick myself up, dust my shoes off and get out and walk.
17.5 miles left.......keep walking, keep going.....keep fighting.

A fab but warm weekend.
First off great work at our hoopers workshops, really leaning into the power of hoop value. Followed by our Four Paws Up to Cancer Hoopers Show, where that hoop value was put to great use.

We also had our Barking Mad bake off, which the judges took very seriously.
So many cakes, all so great we don't know how the judges chose a winner.
Special mention went to Andrew for his cake, runner up was Elise with her muffins, but the winner was Laura's fab cheesecake.
Honestly we loved having cake at the show so much we are thinking of making it a feature of each show.

Most importantly Laura picked a name for her new t***y. Thank you to all those who offered name ideas and then donated to pick the names you liked most. Laura new prosthetic b**b will now be forever known as Tittany & Co.

As always huge thank you to everyone who supported the show, helped out and for generally just being part of our Four Paws Up to Cancer fundraising.

Last fundraising events are this weekend coming.
30th May we are having a morning of canine parkour at Barkby beach, followed by a charity walk along the beach where Emma will be doing the last few miles of her 200 mile walk. Hope you can all join us.
(yes we are keeping an eye on the weather we may move everything earlier in the day)
