🌡️ How hot is too hot for dogs? 🐾

Many people don’t realise just how quickly dogs can overheat — especially in temperatures over 20°C.

Here’s what you need to know:

🔴 24°C and up: Most dogs will find this uncomfortable.
🔴 28°C+: Dangerous for all dogs — potentially life-threatening.
🔴 32°C+: High risk of heatstroke. This can be fatal.

And it’s not just about the temperature — some dogs are much more at risk, even in the low 20s:

⚠️ Extra caution needed for:
• Elderly dogs
• Puppies under 6 months
• Large or overweight dogs
• Dogs with black or thick coats
• Dogs wearing muzzles
• Unwell or recovering dogs
• Brachycephalic breeds (those with short noses like Pugs, Frenchies, Bulldogs, Boxers — they can’t cool down efficiently due to their facial structure)

👉 Please avoid walks during the day in hot weather. Early morning or late evening is safest. Always bring water, stay in the shade, and NEVER leave your dog in a car — even for a minute.

🐾 What Does "Sponsor-a-Dog" Actually Mean? 🐶

At Together Forever Dog Training CIC, we’re not just here to teach sit, stay, and recall—we’re here to change lives. One of the most powerful things we are going to launch soon is our Sponsor-a-Dog initiative.

Many shelter dogs are passed over simply because they need help with their behaviour. Maybe they jump up, bark too much, or get overwhelmed by the world. But underneath that is a beautiful soul just waiting for a second chance. 💔✨

When we sponsor a dog, we provide FREE professional training support to their future adopters—so they don’t have to feel overwhelmed or give up. We help build trust, confidence, and a lasting bond from Day 1.

🐕 This means more adoptions.
💞 Fewer dogs returned.
🌱 And healthier, happier families.

🫶 We want to expand this support to every shelter dog who needs it. But we need your help.

🌟 Welcome to Together Forever Dog Training! 🐾

We’re so excited to finally launch our community-focused, neurodivergent-friendly dog training service — built with heart, purpose, and the belief that every dog and human deserves support.

💙 We offer subsidised and low-cost dog training for:
✔️ Rescue dog adopters
✔️ Neurodivergent and disabled pawrents
✔️ Families on low incomes

Our mission is simple: to keep best friends together by making kind, effective training accessible to those who need it most — no judgment, no pressure, just support that works for real people and real dogs.

📍 Based in Milton Keynes and online

Through community grants and fundraising efforts we look forward to being able to help underserved communities and their dogs soon.
