So many people think you should hose you dog down in this heat…WRONG!!!!
Please read this paragraph from a very professional dog handler.

When a thick-coated or short-nosed dog gets overheated...
Most people make a dangerous mistake.
They pour water directly over the top of the dog's head and back.
Nature built them differently.
To safely cool down an overheated dog, apply water to their belly and paws.
That is where their natural cooling system lives.

I myself get an ice cube and rub it on Woodys belly. Just another idea to cool your dogs down during the heat.

🐶 A Quick Note Before You Get in Touch

To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, we always begin with a meet-and-greet on neutral grounds. This allows the dogs to meet in a calm, relaxed environment before introducing them to my home. If they are comfortable together both outside and within my home, we then carry out a mandatory trials. Although I understand many clients are looking for care at short notice, these trials are an essential part of my process, helping to ensure every dog is happy, safe, and well-suited to the environment before longer bookings.
