We welcomed new-boy Baxter last week who received a very successful and playful warm welcome from his new pals. 🐾 Doggy secure field trip and Mevagissey lead walk availability!!🐾

It's not often we get to welcome a new dog to our groups as we're kept very busy with our lovely regulars but from next week we have some availability opening up to welcome a new pup or two to our crew!

Our secure field trip sessions are in our own private 3.5 acre secure dog field and are:
🐾 Perfect for those fun-loving pups that lack recall.
🐾 Great for owners who might be anxious about having their dog off lead in public
🐾 Young pups that need positive interactions with other dogs to help build confidence and manners.
🐾 Dogs with boundless energy who just want to play and run all day long.
🐾 Senior dogs and those that prefer company and a more sedate plod at their own speed.
🐾 The social butterflies that just want to play and have fun with K9 pals!

We also have limited availability for small group lead walks (4 dogs max) in Mevagissey for those dogs that prefer a local scenic stroll.

Here's a few snaps from Mon-Thurs of our tropical 4 days from earlier this week. Thanks to everyone who was so flexible with much earlier starts and shortened trips and other amendments/arrangements which ensured the dogs didn't get too hot. Plenty of poil time shade and smaller groups so less travel on top of early starts meant the doggos were still able to safely have an amazing time. Back to normal from Monday, until the next heatwave ☀️ 🥵 🐾 💧

Our most sincere thanks and gratitude for the heartwarming well-wishes, cheer and dozens of gifts you sent our way to celebrate the arrival of Sandy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Services latest pup, JJ (Jago Jude) b.18/5/26 ❤️ 👶 ❤️ Mrs Sandy Paws was incredible, inspirational and efficient as always and both Mother and Baby continue to do amazingly. JJ started off saluki or lurcher perhaps but an insatiable appetite means he is very much moving towards Bulldog territory 🥛 ❤️ 🥛 ❤️ 🥛.

A busy May and June has meant Sandy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Services haven't been keeping up with their socials updates and paparazzi committments but we know you'll forgive us for affording all our attention to your dogs and our very own new pup to our burgeoning brood (see next update 😍). With absurdly hot weather due next week
, solely in the interests of the pups' wellbeing and safety, there may well be some amendments to our offerings (early starts, shorter trips, let outs instead of walks and possible postponements) but we'll contact you individually to discuss.

An amazing week of fun and frolics with the Sandy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Services canine crew. We love letting dogs just be dogs; sniffing, lazing, playing, running, resting, pottering, whatever they want so long as they're safe and content ❤️ 🐕 ❤️. We have some very limited spaces for collection along the
Pentewan Valley so please get in touch if you'd be interested in your dog joining us. Enhanced DBS and full insurance, of course.

We were sad to see dynamic duo Gus & Winnie depart for the Midlands and another of our 'day one' regulars will be heading up North for new adventures next week. They'll be sorely missed as they, along with their lovely humans have been part of our lives for the last 2 years. As a result we have rare availability and an opportunity for your dog(s) to join our fun and friendly canine crew on a regular basis.

As winter has finally turned to spring we've kept our dog walks and canine capers at full throttle but the paparazzi and socials updates have been a bit lacking, I must admit 🤦‍♂️ .
