I’m being a little self indulgent today. Nine years ago today my beautiful boy Shadow crossed to rainbow bridge, taking a little piece of me with him. I still buy him flowers every week and a little something on anniversaries and birthdays. My heart still aches for you big boy, I think about you every day. 🌈🐾

Such a sad day, a national treasure who is gone too soon. I am struggling to find the words to do such a great man justice, I never met him but felt like I knew him. His love for animals and kindness to people will be his legacy, the world will miss you Paul O’Grady. 🌈🐾

I am proud to be involved with a small charity that raises money for research into canine cancer, its the only charity that raises money for this vital research in the UK. We are only tiny and its the passion of the founder Jayne following her dog Zoe's cancer battle (she won) Earlier this year Zoes Journey UK joined forces with the Kennel Club Charitable Trust to enable this small charity to continue. Since it has started this tiny charity has raised a staggering £275.000.00 and today at Crufts Jayne handed over a cheque for £4,000 for CANCER research in dogs. Not only does this charity raise money for research but has a community to help and support people whose dogs have received the most awful diagnosis of cancer, and I never experienced a group so kind. Happy Sunday, it feels like spring is on its way this morning, walking the boys this morning the bluebells are starting to show their shoots and the snow drops are in full glory, makes me think of my fur angels at rainbow bridge, sometimes the memories of times shared together are painful and sometimes they make me smile, today I smiled. 🌈🐾

Good morning, it’s Friday at last. Whatever you have planned for the weekend I hope you find a reason to smile, especially for those who for now are finding weekends hard. I love this, something I will be doing in 2023, it doesn’t have to be a jar, a notebook or scraps of paper in a box. I used to write a gratitude diary, and would write something positive at the end of everyday, even if it’s a small tiny thing like today someone smiled at me, I must get back to doing it, it’s good for the soul. 🌈🐾
