Jo has a passion for puppies, recall, tricks and scent detection. She describes her training methods as fun, motivational and practical. Jo has a rescue Golden Retriever x Labrador, Maggie who lives for scentwork and rolling around in long grass. Maggie’s recall (and her zoomies) are greatly admired by all! With Maggie’s help in training, Jo is a qualified World Scent Dog Association Instructor and Level 1 Scent Detection Competition Judge. Jo is also currently training Maggie in formal competitive heelwork. Jo has certified qualifications from Sarah Whitehead’s Clever Dog Company and The School of Canine Science, as well as being an official Puppy Lab Instructor, Real Dog Yoga Instructor, Superdogs Assistance Dog Instructor and a Trick Training Instructor. Jo has a rich background ranging from rescue centre work, vet procedural training and assistance dog training. Seeing and helping puppies grow up to be exceptional dogs and lifelong pals is something she says “is an absolute privilege to be part of.” Jo’s ultimate passion is to help you develop the rewarding, enjoyable and stress-free relationship you dream of with your dog.
