Sometimes grief doesn’t follow the rules people expect 🤍
It doesn’t arrive neatly, and it doesn’t leave on schedule.
You can miss them and still laugh at something small.
You can feel empty and grateful in the same breath.
You can cry in the quiet and smile when a memory finds you unexpectedly.
None of that means you’re doing it wrong.
It means you loved deeply — and love doesn’t disappear just because someone is gone.
This season may feel heavier than others.
Certain days might ache more than you prepared for.
And some moments will surprise you with warmth when you least expect it 🌲
Let yourself feel it all.
The tears.
The memories.
The longing.
The soft, fragile hope that still shows up anyway.
Grief isn’t something you “fix.”
It’s something you learn to carry — gently, slowly, in your own way.
So if today you’re quiet, that’s okay.
If today you smile through tears, that’s okay.
If today all you can do is remember, that’s more than enough 🕯️
There is no wrong way to feel.
Only your way.
And it is valid.
