This is my last week of Summer walks before I finish for my holidays, and when I’m back we’ll be heading into Autumn 🍂😮
I don’t think we’ve had a bad summer here in Cumbria. We’ve definitely had more warm spells than usual, which has meant more early starts, but getting the dogs out before the heat kicked in has been worth it.
The weather can have quite an impact on us dog walkers, with routes changed, walks moved and cancellations. It can make things unpredictable, but after nearly seven years of doing this, I’ve learned its all part of the job - the dogs safety always comes first.
We’re heading towards cooler temperatures, darker mornings and probably a lot more mud! But for now, we’re making the most of these last summer days 🥰
