I’m back at work today, I will be getting new appointments to everyone for this week that I had to move due to being poorly.

Morning all,

I’m off grooming today due to having another chest/respiratory infection I’ve completely lost my voice and struggling to swallow anything.

I have contacted my grooms for today and will be moving them to the weekend I will hopefully be back tomorrow now I have some medication to start from the doctors.

This is the 3rd time this year I have been off with my chest and on steroids/antibiotics unfortunately my bloods have come back I am highly allergic to dog dander so I am trying my best but it seems to be getting worse each year. I have just ordered a respirator mask in hopes this helps me and stops dander entering my lungs - any more tips would be appreciated. I am also trying to find some time off to do up the salon after our flood but we are so busy!

As far as appointments are concerned we have been booking into June since the start of May we get very busy this time of year so I have no availability until mid June.

About Your Groomer

I originally did my degree in graphic design although I enjoyed working in the industry after university, I have always wanted to work with animals. So I got a job at pets at home to gain experience and completed a grooming diploma course at Anrich Vets Grooming School, in Lancashire. This was a five week hands on course which covered prep work, mini health checks, sc******ng and breed standard grooms. When I finished my course I got a job as a stylist in a groomers and was there for just over a year before deciding to set up in my own so Bonnies Bath and Grooming Studio was born!

I have a passion for being as natural as possible with my own six dogs and pride myself in using no harsh chemicals, ethically sourced and natural shampoos, sprays, balms etc., to keep your dogs skin and coat in tip top condition. I have also completed a dog behaviour course at Myerscough College. This helps me understand your dogs body language so I can help them be as relaxed as possible I also working on a 1-2-1 basis. Fully insured and completed canine first aid course at The Academy @ Firtree Ltd.
