Hi! I’m Maria, the founder of Exmoor & Coast Muddy Paws. Based in Combe Martin, I provide professional dog walking and pet services across Combe Martin, Berrynarbor, Ilfracombe, Kentisbury, Barnstaple and the surrounding areas.
About Me & My Pack
I’ve lived with dogs most of my life and currently share my home with two very high-energy companions: a Dalmatian and a Hungarian Vizsla. I have experience with small medium and some large breed dogs.
I know exactly what it takes to keep them physically satisfied and mentally calm! As a mum to a 10-month-old, I’m an expert at balancing family life with the great outdoors—whether I'm pushing the pram or have the little one in the carrier, we are always on the move.
The "Muddy Paws" Way
I believe a walk should be a proper escape for our dogs. I make it my mission to find lesser-known, quieter routes and trails across Exmoor and the coast. By choosing less busy paths, I ensure the dogs can enjoy being dogs—sniffing and exploring without the constant interruption.
Services:
🌊- Exmoor Adventure Treks (group): 2-hour hikes on the moors, through woodland or the coast.
🌲 - 1-Hour Exmoor Adventures(group or solo): Off-road exploration with plenty of off-lead opportunities for dogs to sniff, run and play in a quiet environment.
🐕 - Gentle 30-minute leg stretchers.
🏠 - Home Visits: Pup bathroom breaks, feeding, and cuddles. "pop-in" care for cats and small pets.
🚕 - Pet taxi: we can pick you pet up and take them to appointments if you are not able to yourself.
