Disco is one of those dogs who just makes you smile. 🥰
She has a smile on her face and, I’m pretty sure, a smile in her heart too. ❤️

I absolutely LOVE grooming this little girl — she’s such a warm, happy soul and always brings a bit of sunshine with her. ☀️🐶

Yesterday I decided to surprise her owner and gave Disco an Asian Fusion style. ✂️✨
And judging by the reaction… I think the surprise was a success! 😂❤️

Sweet little Lizzie 🥰🐾

Grooming this adorable little old lady is always a bit of a challenge, but she is just too sweet for me not to do everything I can to make her as comfortable as possible. ❤️

Today, we had a little battle over the nail clipping… Lizzie was absolutely NOT interested in giving me her paws! 😂 She’s recently had a sore paw and has been to the vet, so I completely understand why she wasn’t too keen on letting me touch it.

But with plenty of patience, cuddles and a little bit of negotiation… we got there! 😂🐾

Well done, Lizzie! You may have won a few little battles today, but we got those nails done in the end! ❤️😂

Bear🐾💕 My first Wire-Haired Dachshund!

This entire groom was done using the hand stripping technique. There was an incredible amount of coat to work through after a year without stripping, but thankfully her coat was still in beautiful condition and completely undamaged.

I really enjoyed taking on this new challenge, and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to work with such a lovely dog.

Hopefully, Bear will now be coming back every 12 weeks, because regular hand stripping is the key to maintaining a healthy coat and bringing out the very best in this gorgeous little girl.

She was such a sweet, well-behaved sweetheart from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better first Wire-Haired Dachshund. ❤️

Everyone, meet Maple! 🤎
She’s just 8 months old and today was her very first visit to Bea’s Pet Grooming Studio.

Was it a perfect groom? Not quite… and that’s absolutely okay. 💛

With puppies, my priority is never the perfect haircut—it’s making sure they leave feeling safe, relaxed, and happy to come back. A beautiful trim can wait. Building trust comes first. ✂️🐾

Thank you to Maple’s lovely owners for understanding that first grooms are all about confidence, not perfection. I can’t wait to see this gorgeous girl again and watch her grooming journey unfold! 🥰 Harborough
