☘️🐴Everyone meet Sidney!🐴☘️

I kept this one quiet, but last week Scott Alexander and I headed over to Ireland for a bit of horse shopping.

We found exactly the qualities we were looking for in Sidney a 5yo ISH!

I’m so happy he’s finally here and I’m really looking forward to what the future has in store ⭐️

This does mean I’m going to be super busy this season and the diary is already looking rather full!

A big thank you to EquiTrans for taking the best care of him and getting here safe and sound! 🐴✨

🚨Important update🚨
Firstly I'd like to thank all my clients new and old for their continued support. Thanks to you all, I've been able to grow my small business a little more. 💕

I have a fresh rebranding from Poppy's Paws and Ponies to Poppy Johnson Equestrian to better suit the next steps in my business! A huge thanks to Evie Francesca Design Studio for my new logo. It's absolutely perfect, and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a logo to get in touch; she has a real talent for equine logos too!

All services, including grooming, riding, clipping, holiday cover and house/pet sitting are continuing as normal 🐾🐎

Those of you that know me personally are probably aware I had to make the decision to semi-retire April last month, although she is looking forward to spending her summer sunbathing on an extremely well-deserved long break🧡

And I'm keeping this one a little secret... for now... there's some very exciting news coming soon! 🐎🇮🇪➡️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Experienced rider and groom, able to complete all yard duties to a high standard. Confident with all types of horses and can ride to a high standard.

Mondays: 7-8:30am (Oakham+Stamford)

Tuesdays: 7-8:30am (Oakham+Stamford)
3:30/4-6pm (Oakham)

Wednesdays: 1pm-5pm (Stamford, Oakham, Bourne or Deeping)

Thursdays: 1pm-4pm (Stamford, Bourne, Deeping)

Fridays: 1pm-4pm (Stamford, Deeping, Bourne)

Saturdays: 8:30am-4:30pm (Deeping, Bourne, Stamford, Oakham)

Merry Christmas to all clients new and old🎄❤️

Thank you for an incredible first year in business! A year ago I had just 1 client, and now I’ve lost count of how many dogs I’ve walked, how many house sits I’ve done and how many incredible horses I’ve had the pleasure of riding.

I am off work now until Monday 29th December, I have a small amount of availability between then and 5th January when all normal services resume. 🙏🏼

Please get in touch regarding any future bookings as soon as possible as the diary is already filling up for the new year🥳

2 grooms available for large yards.

Discounts for 2+ horses on same day at same yard.

For extras please see the following list (can be applied to any clip):
Legs off +£10
Full head off +£10
Half head off +£5
Belly off (bib clip) +£5

I do kindly ask that all horses are thoroughly bathed and scrubbed prior to clipping, or given a very thorough groom, the night before or morning of, and rugged appropriately to keep dirt off!💦 A £10 fee will be charged if the horse is not appropriately clean, as it adds extra strain to clippers, and I cannot guarantee a good clip!

For ponies under 13hh please deduct £5 from price🐴

Ava is able to take on a house sit or holiday cover based in Stamford and surrounding areas however she’s equally as busy so please get booked in ASAP!!
