At Bark & Bath Grooming, I offer a loving, stress-free grooming experience where every dog is treated like the star they are." I’ve always been a dog lover and knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals. I started my journey by studying Animal Management and completed my BTEC National Diploma in 2024. During that time, I discovered a real passion for grooming and went on to complete

my Level 2 qualification in grooming, and I am now finishing my Level 3 City & Guilds in Dog Grooming. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and feel completely confident when it comes to handling and caring for them. As a family, we currently have three—two cocker spaniels and a Jack Russell—and in the past, we’ve also had springer spaniels. I’m thrilled to have recently joined the lovely Gill at Mint Hounds, based at the Sussex Country Garden Centre in Mark Cross. I’ll be working a few days a week while I complete the final parts of my Level 3 grooming qualification, and once that’s done, I’ll be looking to offer more grooming hours.

Regular exercise allows you to check for any tangles, mats, or dirt buildup, making grooming sessions easier. Plus, it's a great bonding time for both of you! So, grab that leash and enjoy some fresh air – your dog will thank you for it! 🐕🐾

Fleas can make your dog miserable—don’t let them stick around!
Regular flea prevention is key to keeping your pup happy and healthy. Especially when your dog is being groomed as it can spread quickly to other pups!! Use vet-approved treatments, wash their bedding, vacuum your main rooms often, and comb them regularly. A little effort goes a long way in keeping those pesky fleas away!
