Today, we said a heartfelt goodbye to a very special girl, Macy. Described by her devoted owners, Roi and Donna, as "the best spaniel ever," Macy was a wonderful friend, loyal companion, and a truly cherished dog whose gentle nature touched everyone who knew her.

Macy spent her life surrounded by love in the peaceful village of Littlebourne, where she enjoyed a happy and contented time with her beloved dog sister, Peaches and her extended family. Together they shared countless adventures, quiet walks, and the simple pleasures of village life, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Known for her exceptionally mild-mannered and kind nature, Macy had a way of making everyone feel welcome. She was calm, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, always happiest when spending time with her family and those she loved. Her gentle spirit and unwavering companionship made her not only a treasured pet but a true friend.

Macy's life was filled with love, comfort, and care, and the bond she shared with Roi, Donna, and her family was clear to all who met her. Although saying goodbye is never easy, the memories she leaves behind are a testament to a life well lived and a dog who was deeply adored.

It was an honour to help Macy on her final journey and to ensure her farewell reflected the dignity, gentleness, and love that defined her life.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Florence 🌿

This week, we said a gentle goodbye to a much-loved girl, Florence. With her soft black coat, Florence had a calm, friendly nature and a quiet charm that made her instantly adored by everyone she met.

Florence came into her family’s life as an adorable puppy, growing up surrounded by love, laughter and companionship. She lived a full and happy life with Robert, Melita and their family, and shared a particularly special bond with her grandpawrents, whose home opens out onto the beautiful beaches of Kingsdown. It was there that Florence spent many of her happiest moments, enjoying the sea air, the open space, and the simple joy of being close to those she loved. She was also cherished by another set of grandpawrents in Deal, where she spent more happy time being fussed and loved.

She was a relaxed and gentle soul, always welcoming, always content, and never happier than when she was with her people or strolling along the shoreline.

Although Florence lived to a wonderful age, her passing came suddenly due to illness, making her loss all the more difficult for those who loved her. Despite this, her final moments were filled with peace and surrounded by her devoted family, a reflection of the love and care she was given throughout her life.

It was an honour to help Florence on her final journey and to ensure her goodbye was as calm and dignified as the life she lived.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Tarquin 🌿

Recently, we said a heartfelt goodbye to a truly special boy, Tarquin. Tarquin was a beautiful Snowshoe cat with the most incredible blue eyes, the kind you could easily get lost in. They reflected his gentle spirit and curious nature, capturing the hearts of everyone who met him.

A cheeky boy with a love for life, Tarquin lived happily by the sea with his devoted owner, Emmie, and his four feline siblings. One of his favourite pastimes was sitting by the window, gazing out at the shoreline and watching the world go by. Whether it was boats bobbing along, passing people or the vibrant coastal nights, Tarquin seemed to take it all in with calm curiosity.

Sadly, Tarquin was diagnosed with a heart condition at a young age. But thanks to Emmie’s extraordinary dedication, he was given the very best chance to enjoy the time he had. For an entire year, she woke at 4am every single day to make sure Tarquin received his heart medication at exactly the right time, helping it work as effectively as possible. That level of love and commitment speaks volumes about the bond they shared.

Though Tarquin’s life was far too short, being taken at just six years old, it was filled with love, comfort and devotion. It was an honour to be there for Tarquin and to help provide him with a calm and peaceful farewell, surrounded by the love of those who cherished him.

Our thoughts are with Emmie, Tarquins four cat siblings and all who loved him during this incredibly difficult time.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Bailey 🌿

Yesterday, we said a heartfelt goodbye to a truly special boy, Bailey.

Bailey was a beloved Staffy x Boxer who filled his world with personality, love, and plenty of laughter.

He was a dog who lived life with enthusiasm, especially when food was involved. Bailey adored his meals and was never shy about letting his family know it was dinner time, yapping with excitement as if he simply couldn’t wait a second longer. His joy for life was infectious.

Big sticks were another of his great passions. The bigger the better, carrying them proudly as though no prize in the world could compare. These little moments captured everything Bailey was, joyful, determined, and wonderfully himself.

It was an honour to walk alongside Bailey on his final journey and to help give him a peaceful, dignified goodbye, surrounded by love.

Run free now, beautiful boy. May there be endless fields, the biggest sticks imaginable, and all the treats your heart desires. 🤍

🌿 In Loving Memory of Yogi 🌿

On Thursday, we said goodbye to Yogi, a handsome and much-loved German Shepherd who will be deeply missed by his family. Yogi was almost 13 years old, and his family were with him to the very end.

Yogi’s family have written a short heartfelt memorial, sharing just how special he was to them:

“We are heartbroken that we said goodbye to our handsome Yogi on Thursday. He was clever, loyal, funny, and we were lucky he chose us to share his life. RIP our gorgeous boy xx 💔 Our home will never feel the same 💔”

It was an honour to be there with Yogi and his family at the end, helping him pass peacefully, surrounded by love. May Yogi rest in peace, surrounded by endless squeaky toys and plenty of his favourite bags to explore.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Cardi 🌿

On Saturday, we said goodbye to Cardi, a sweet and cherished little cat who will be deeply missed by his family. Cardi brought comfort, joy, and love into their lives, and his gentle presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His family has written a heartfelt tribute that beautifully reflects the love they shared with him and the special place he will always hold in their hearts.

‘Cardi, a jet black cat with a peculiar white tip on his tail — given a new home at 6 months old by his loving brothers, Chris, Lewis, Nathan, and Andrew, and his mum, Nikki. Cardi soon became an irreplaceable part of his family.

Cardi had a huge personality. He had a knack for always being exactly where your feet were about to land in the kitchen, and for vanishing into the darkness on the stairs at night, guaranteeing a stumble if you took the wrong step. He filled the house with joy and laughter — squeezing himself into the tiniest cardboard boxes, play-fighting all day, and endlessly missing his jump from the front lawn up into the kitchen window.

Cardi loved attention but never liked being picked up. He would tolerate it, but he would always push away from your chest with his front paws and stare at you with reluctant acceptance. But on the day he was laid to rest, held closely in his brother's arms, Cardi showed a tenderness that sent a message of his love to his family. This time Cardi did not push away, but also embraced Andrew tightly, just as they have always done to him, a moment of mutual love that will live with his family forever.

He will be forever missed and will live on in all of our hearts. Cardi has been laid to rest in his back garden, where he remains at home, surrounded by the love he gave his family for 15 wonderful years.’

🌿 In Loving Memory of Shadow 🌿

Yesterday, we said goodbye to Shadow, a remarkable boy who left a big pawprint on many hearts.

Shadow came to live with Louise and her family when he was just one year old, reunited with his biological sister Blaze. From the beginning he brought energy, spirit and a spark that was uniquely his. He had the softest fur and a character full of honesty and heart.

He loved racing through open fields, chasing rabbits with joy, and sharing apples, his absolute favourite treat. Even after losing his sight to glaucoma, he faced life with courage. He leaned on Blaze for support, although she didn’t always return the favour and sometimes used his blindness to sneak a few extra treats for herself!

Shadow lived with determination, loyalty and a quiet dignity. It was an honour to be there for him at the end and to help him on his final journey, alongside his family and sister.

Run free now, Shadow. May the fields be endless and the Pink Lady apples always sweet. Our thoughts are with Shadows family and all who loved him at this difficult time 🤍

Yesterday, we said goodbye to a very special little soul, Jack.

Jack spent 16 wonderful years bringing joy, laughter, and companionship to his devoted family, especially Marian. He had a gift for making ordinary days brighter, whether he was enjoying his favourite treat - ice cream - exploring the peaceful paths of the Alkham Valley, or visiting the seaside with his tail held high and his spirit full of adventure.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by love. It was a privilege to walk alongside him and to support him on his final journey.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Hector 🌿

This morning, we said goodbye to a very special boy - Hector.

Hector began his journey in Cyprus before joining his devoted family, Nicola, Mark and Aimee, here in leafy Kent during the Covid years. From the start, he brought love, loyalty, and light to their lives, staying by their side through both joyful and difficult times.

He loved his walks in the park, snoring contentedly on his comfy bed, and cuddling up close with his family. True to his Mediterranean roots, Hector remained a sun seeker throughout his life - happiest when basking in a warm patch of sunlight.

He passed peacefully this morning, surrounded by love. It was a privilege to care for him and to help him on his final journey.

🌿 In Loving Memory of Bud 🌿

Today we said goodbye to dear Bud, who was taken ill suddenly. Bud was a much-loved member of his family — a beautiful boy with a big personality, full of character and charm. He loved spending time in the conservatory watching the squirrels and deer, doing his “laps” of the house, and delivering the occasional well-timed bat to make his feelings known.

He enjoyed time with his sister and family, and could often be found perched on his favourite cat tree, keeping a watchful eye over everything. Bud will be so deeply missed, but he leaves behind many happy memories and a great deal of love.

Sending love and comfort to Bev and Paul as they remember their special boy. 🤍
