Lovely Bodhi came in for his routine surgery with us yesterday. 🐾🧡

Like all of our inpatients, he went home with a cuddly toy for a little extra comfort… and it looks like he’s been cuddling up to his ever since! 🧸🥹🧡

Introducing Tatty, Our Patient of the Month

Tatty visited us as an emergency case, as her owners were concerned that she had been bitten by an adder. They heard her yelp and saw her jump back, followed by the sight of a snake. As is typical with snake bites, her face began to swell.

Upon her arrival, Tatty appeared bright, but we determined it was best to transfer her to our 24-hour hospital for potential antivenom, fluids, and pain relief.

After spending a few days in the hospital, Tatty returned home in excellent health.

Thanks to her owners’ quick thinking, Tatty’s life was saved. If you suspect your pet has been bitten by an adder, please carry them to minimise venom spreading, and visit your vet as soon as possible!
