Having set up 'Scotty's Cartoons', becoming 'The Dog Cartoonist' was very much inspired by my gorgeous cocker spaniel, Jasper. Whilst Jasper resides over rainbow bridge now, he lives on as the face of Scotty's Cartoons and the passion behind it. Sometimes the smallest moments can make the biggest difference. 🐾

Those tiny moments of comfort and happiness are called glimmers, and because dogs are basically walking glimmer machines, I created a FREE set of 36 dog-themed glimmer prompts with 12 reusable blanks, to help you notice more of them. 🎁

Dog ownership is magical. 🤩

One minute you’re their whole world, and the next you’re apparently a lamp post.

This is an example of why I love drawing dogs so much. They’re endlessly lovable, chaotic little weirdos and whilst this one is just for fun, every owner has a story similar to this one! I guess living with dogs means accepting that your dignity is occasionally collateral damage.
