Please give a big official welcome into foster care for Milo!

Milo came into the rescue as an emergency foster last week and thankfully our wonderful family friends stepped up to take him in late at night. 🐾

Milo had been an only dog until his owner sadly passed away. He was then unable to settle in his new home which was a bit too busy for him, and he was being reactive to the other dogs in the home.

Milo has come on leaps and bounds this past week, as he has felt much more comfortable in a calmer environment with a solid routine. He has now moved into a longer term foster home whilst we assess him and undertake his vet checks and castration.

Milo is only a tiny boy, he loves his walks but most of all he loves belly rubs & snuggles. He is a very sweet but timid boy and we hope his defensive behaviour will soon become a thing of the past.

We will keep you updated on how Milo is getting on and what sort of home would be the best fit for him. Thanks for all your support as always! 💙🧡

Pug Friends Friday Fundraiser!

10 Pugs helped celebration 🎉

Thank you all for your great support so far, we are building a community of Pug lovers and network of people willing to help Pugs in need. Pug Friends Rescue has also hit our first milestone now, with 10 Pugs brought into the rescue and helped 🙌🏼

It’s been a bit quiet the last couple of weeks but all of a sudden we now have 3 Pugs in foster who need vet health checks and neutering! So we are asking for your support again with any donations you can manage to help towards their costs.

We are in the process of registering as a Charity and once complete we will be setting up a bank account where you can sign up to donate a small monthly amount to keep us going and helping as many Pugs as possible.

We really hope you guys will keep giving us all this wonderful support and we can get our Pugs into the wonderful forever homes they deserve! Thank you 🙏🏼

🐾 A very special welcome to Jude 🐾

Sometimes, all it takes is one person to speak up, one team to care, and one chance to change a life.

We would like everyone to give a huge welcome to handsome little Jude, who has now safely arrived into the care of Pug Friends Rescue 💙🧡

Jude was sadly due to be put to sleep after his previous owner declared that he was aggressive. Thankfully, an incredible lady called Karen D'Rozario, the compassionate vet team involved, and our amazing admin team all worked together to stop this from happening and give Jude the second chance he deserved.

Because of their kindness and quick action, Jude’s story did not end that day.

Instead, Jude is now safe with a fantastic foster family who are currently assessing him, getting to know him properly, and helping us understand exactly what he will need to thrive in the perfect forever home.

Every dog deserves the chance to be understood, and we are so grateful that Jude was given that opportunity ❤️

Thank you again to everyone involved in saving this precious boy. We cannot wait to share more updates on Jude’s journey with you all 🐶🐾

Please welcome our new foster Bobby!

Bobby has been surrendered to us due to changes in circumstances at home and unsuitable working hours. This meant that he was being left at home alone for far too long. His family realised that they can’t give him the time and attention he craves 🥺

Bobby is a very cuddly and loving 3 year old boy. He is still currently in tact and has been scent marking on his first day (Boys, eh 😆). His foster family will work on this and his other assessments.
Bobby will be neutered prior to rehoming and he could do with losing a little bit of weight, so he is starting on his diet today 🎉.

He is great with other dogs, cats and children. So we know that Bobby will be a lovely family dog for someone who can be around a lot of the time.

We will keep you updated on how he is getting on and if you are interested in Bobby & think you could be a match for him, please let us know or submit an application via the website.

🐾 NORTH WEST FOSTER URGENTLY NEEDED! 🐾

We have welcomed in an urgent foster pug called Milo.

Massive thanks to our friends who took him in late night, but he can’t stay there in foster past this week.

Milo is 2 years old and a really beautiful little boy. He is an intact male and can be nervous around other dogs and new people. He is good with kids and very loving when he feels comfortable with you.

We are looking for a calm home environment with people who are around most of the time, to give him all the love he needs and help his confidence.

We think he can stay with other dogs but it would be better if they are not too lively. He does not seem to like cats.

Andi and Lunar have now been adopted!!! 🎉🎉

We are delighted to share the news that the girls are able to stay together in their new home and they have begun to settle in already. Their new family have said what a wonderful addition to the home they are, they are being showered with love and attention.

Massive thank you to our foster family for taking the girls in together first and allowing this to work out so well! 🥰

The girls have also now been re named as Patsy and Edina and we think that sounds Absolutely Fabulous 😉

Ghost is adopted!! 🎉🎉🎉

Please join us in congratulating our lovely Ghost and his new family on his adoption today 🥰

Ghost came to us with some questions to answer regarding his health and we made sure we got to fully investigate his leg issues (thanks to everyone who supported our crowdfunder!).

His new family now have all the information they need to give him a long and happy life. That’s what he will certainly get with his very caring new pawrents and a house by the seaside! He absolutely loves the water so this is the perfect place for him to be 🐾

Ghost is the most unique pug cross we have seen and he came through like a fluffy tornado! He will give his new family lots of fun and affection and we wish them all years of happiness together 💙🧡

Pupdate on Luna:

Little Luna has been to the vets for the second assessment on her hernia. We are expecting that a decision will be made soon on the surgery, to determine if her spay and hernia repair can be done at the same time. The hernia is not in the usual place and is quite large, so we are keeping a close eye on her.

Good news is that she has put a little bit of weight on and now those ribs are a bit less obvious! Luna has also had some behavioural issues to overcome and foster mum has worked wonders with her this past couple of weeks to help her settle in well.

We are pleased to say that Luna is set to become a ‘failed foster’ as she is going to be adopted by her foster family 🙌🏼💙
