Introducing Harrison 'endive' Bermingham (dumbo roan) and 'vicious' Viktor freeze (silver fawn). Harrison and Viktor were rescued from a glass tank on floor level with kids banging on the glass to scare them. Both were classed as human and rat agressive. They were both cage aggressive also. Both Harrison and Viktor were terrified. Had they not been taken away by berties babies they would have ended up as snake food. The boys needed very special time, handling and care due to the emmotional abuse they had suffered. Both boys would bite very hard out of fear, but we never once gave up on them. Now the boys are very cuddly and loving, they love to go for a free roam but they also love a cuddle wit their cage mates and their humans. Both still suffer slightly from emotional outbursts due to the suffering they endured but one thing is for sure, we will never give up on them and they will always be safe with us.

Introducing Oscar 'ozzy' Bermingham. Oscar was a baby here (he's a biiiiig boy now!) Oscar was the first rescue for berties babies, Oscar was taken from horrendous conditions, he and his siblings had no food, no clean water and bedding that could have made him really sick. We unfortunately didn't have the space to take all the little babies away with us but we ensured the person not only couldn't have rodents again but could never own a pet or animal shop ever again. Oscar took a lot of extra love and care to help him trust humans and trust his new brothers. His new dad Rufus took him under his wing and showed him how to be the best rat he could be. Today Oscar is second in command of his mischief and the muscle of the boys cage.
