To help our team cope with the current heatwave, and to allow a little extra time to care for our own dogs during the hottest part of the day, our stores will be operating reduced hours over the next three days.

During hot weather, pavements can become dangerously hot and may cause painful burns in seconds.

Swap long walks for enrichment at home. Snuffle mats, lick mats, puzzle toys and training games can help keep minds busy while temperatures are high.

When a walk is needed, head out early in the morning or later in the evening when surfaces are cooler.

Paws on the counter, eyes locked on Lucy, quality control in full swing. We suspect he was counting the treats as they went into the bag and making sure nobody helped themselves to his order.

We have a problem.

The cuteness levels at Betty & Butch have reached critical mass and management are currently investigating whether this amount of adorable should be legal.

Just look at this lot. Wagging tails, puppy eyes, cheeky grins and enough personality to fill the shop twice over.

Some visitors leave a lasting impression… and Arlo is definitely one of them. ❤️

This handsome boy popped into Betty & Butch today and reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Tail wags, cuddles, and plenty of attention from the team.

We think it’s safe to say Arlo has mastered the art of getting fuss from absolutely everyone he meets.
