Monday - Hatha Flow (studio) 6.30-7.30pm
- Slow Down and Stretch (in studio and online) 7.45-8.45pm
Wednesday - Morning Glow (Online) 6.30-7.15am
Thursday - Hatha Flow (studio) 6.30-7.30pm
💚 How to practice online: 💻
If you want to do classes online, you can book them the normal way through the booking system, and they are also a bit cheaper than studio classes - £10 for Slow Down and Stretch, and £8 for Morning Glow.
Another way to access online classes is an online membership. By signing up to Yoga Online, you get access to both the Monday night and Wednesday morning class, with unlimited replay for the following 7 days in case you couldn’t make the live classes. The membership is £35/month, which equates to just over £4 per class.
✨Class Descriptions: ✨
Hatha Flow is a routine where one pose flows into another, mixed with a few poses being held for longer to achieve the full benefit of them. I also like to use resistance bands in these classes to focus on developing a better posture and stronger core, which are essential for a healthy, pain-free body that has longevity. These classes are mixed level and I always make sure beginners feel safe and understand what they’re doing, though they do have an intensity about them that builds strength and balance, so expect a little bit of work!
Slow Down and Stretch that will be held both in the studio and online, which hopefully suits anyone that gets home from work a bit later, or needs to put the kids to bed beforehand, whether they can make it to the studio or not. Because of the later class time, it’s a perfect time to do a slower, more relaxed class that will help give you a restorative night’s sleep, and start the week in a calm, centred way. It’s ideal for beginners and anyone who wants to unwind and chill, or is nursing an injury and needs to take a slower, more mindful approach to movement.
Morning Glow is 45 minutes of early morning body opening to wake up postural muscles, mobilise the spine and joints, and find a little bit of calm to move into the rest of your day in a mindful way. As this class is online, all you have to do is crawl out of bed and onto your mat (perhaps making a stop at the kettle on the way for a cup of tea or coffee)!
