My boy was hit by a car yesterday on Sandy Lane
The driver didn’t stop
Whoever you are, you’ve taken away my snuggle buddy
My nose licker
My reason for not getting out of my chair because he had pinned me down
My wake up call
My huge ball of floof
My bedtime buddy
My shadow
But most of all - my boy
I’m broken
To some he was only a cat
To me he was my world

I understand that sometimes it’s hard to avoid hitting a cat when it suddenly appears but this was on Sandy Lane near the sink hole. Drivers should’ve been going slow. And you should’ve stopped. I will be forever grateful to Rachel N Wayne who held my boy when he took his last breath.

Please, if you see me out, don’t talk to me. I’m struggling and need to be on my own to process this. We should’ve grown old together.
