River View Equestrian is a small, relaxed, and well-managed yard offering top quality full livery with a calm, friendly atmosphere where horses settle quickly and thrive.

We currently have a few spaces available:

🐴 Gelding (Rest or Retirement)
• 24/7 turnout at grass with a field shelter
• Access to hay in winter if required
• To live with a kind, barefoot gelding who loves company and mutual grooming

🐴 Pony (up to 14.2hh)
• Restricted grazing with access to hay and a field shelter
• Ideally a mare, though geldings considered if compatible
• 24/7 turnout, preferably barefoot

🐴 Stable Livery
• 24/7 turnout in summer
• Stabled overnight with full turnout every day in winter
• Fully rubber-matted stables, warm wash area, secure tack storage

🐴 Track System
• Spaces available – enquiries welcome!

✨ What’s Included in Full Livery:
• 7-day care by proprietor & partner (minimal staff turnover, excellent communication)
• Daily poo picking & carefully managed land rotation
• Unlimited home-grown wrapped meadow hay
• 2 bales of bedding per week for stabled horses
• Farrier costs included
• 3 FECs, 2 saliva counts & a winter wormer each year
• Weighbridge & nutritionist visit every 5–6 months
• Storage for rugs & secure tack room unit
• Grooming & bathing weekly for retired horses (including mane & tail tidies)
• Communal fly spray & topical treatments available
• Onsite WC, night checks & top-ups as required
• Feed can be included if needed

We are soon welcoming new residents into our retirement livery packages, with two tailored options to suit your horse’s lifestyle:

🏡 Full Grass Livery with Shelter
• Live-out with field shelter and/or natural shelter
• Fields with adjustable grazing—as much or as little grass as needed
• Unlimited home-grown wrapped meadow hay
• Salt licks provided
• Suitable for year-round turnout

🏡 Full Retirement Livery with Stable
All of the above plus:
• Unlimited bedding (sundown, straw pellets, or a combination)
• Use of fully rubber-matted stables
• Ideal for horses needing more hands-on care during harsher seasons

Both packages include:
✔️ Annual worming program (3 FECs, 2 saliva counts, 1 winter dose)
✔️ Routine hoof trims by our registered yard farrier

So happy belated 1 year anniversary to our lovely little Dizzy, known on the yard as “Diz-dog”, and adorable little Hollie, fondly known as “Hollie pops”. They both arrived within 24 hours of each other and are just the sweetest little girls to have on the yard 💙.
