This beautiful big teddy bear came in for his first puppy groom today and what a star he was!⭐️ Was so chilled out that he just lay down while having his blow dry💆🏼‍♂️ Can you believe he’s only 3 and a half months old! He’s going to be a big boy😍

It’s so important to take your puppies for a introductory puppy groom as soon as you can (when they’ve had all their vaccinations) because you want them to enjoy coming to have a pamper and the younger they are the easier it is for them to get used to the grooming process.

There’s a few things you can do at home to help get them ready for their first grooming experience!

🐾 Get them used to brushes and combs by gently using them all over their bodies including face and feet. Using enrichment toys such as licki mats can help with this process.
🐾 Play with your puppies paws and stroke their legs, look in their eyes and ears and get them used to you holding their face. This prepares them for the groomers handling them when trimming/clipping
🐾 Make sure they are socialising - the more experiences your puppy has with strangers tue more relaxed they will be when at the groomers

I would like to wish all of my lovely customers and their gorgeous dogs a very happy and healthy 2025!🎉

My 2025 diary is currently open until the end of May, once I have sorted my own holidays out more of my diary will be opened up⛱️

🐾 Everyone who is on my automatic booking in list should have received your confirmation messages about your appointments up until May.

🐾 If you can’t make any of the dates or times I have sent then please give me a message as soon as possible so I can look at moving the appointment around for you.

🐾 Please ensure you book in advance to avoid disappointment as January and most of February are fully booked already.

Due to the high demand for appointments during December a £20 deposit (per dog) is required to secure your booking. The deposit secures against any missed or cancelled appointments and will not be refunded unless you give over 48 hours’ notice of cancellation of your booking.

I am working extra hours in December to make all of your doggies look gorgeous for Santa Paws, therefore cannot afford last minute cancellations or no shows.

Please make sure your deposit is paid by the end of November by cash, card or bank transfer. Please give me a call or message if you need my bank details.

🎇FIREWORK SEASON🎇

Firework season is upon us and for some of our dogs this can be a very scary and stressful time for them, so here is a few tips on how to keep our pets feeling safe and secure during this time

🎆Make a cosy den for your dog to go to if they are feeling worried or anxious
🎆Block out the noise by keeping windows and curtains shut and turn the radio/Tv on a bit louder
🎆Behave normally to show your dog there is nothing to worry about
🎆Walk your dog before it starts getting dark
🎆Don’t force your dog to go outside to the toilet
🎆Calming Collars and Diffusers can be really beneficial to some dogs
🎆 Classic Fm are playing relaxing music on 2nd and 5th November from 5-9pm.
