Leweston Chedington Riding Academy invites students and their families to an evening with Danny Anholt FBHS for 'Competition Mindset - Sports Psychology' on 16 September, 16:40.

Danny will explore a rider’s ability to recognise, understand and manage the psychological challenges that arise in competition. Nerves are a normal response to pressure, but learning to work with them rather than fight against them can help a rider remain focused and perform effectively.

🎉 Celebrating an outstanding first cohort! 🎉

We were delighted to celebrate the achievements of our first cohort of BTEC Equine Management students, who have achieved an incredible 100% pass rate, with several students gaining Distinction grades. Pearson also commended the group on the exceptionally high standard of work produced throughout the course. 👏
Their hard work, passion and hands-on dedication have truly paid off, with their talents already opening doors across the equestrian sector. 🐴

Some students are heading straight into exciting, high-profile roles, including working with Olympic eventers Tim and Jonelle Price, while others are beginning careers in the New Zealand racing industry.
For others, the next chapter will see them progressing to university, training to join the police force, or returning to the local farming community to put their specialist skills into practice.

Many congratulations and the very best of luck to OA Tabitha Taylor who is in East Yorkshire this weekend competing at the Bishop Burton College Festival of Youth Eventing Championships.
Tabitha has been selected to represent the South West region in the BE U18 Regional Festival of Youth Championships, competing in the CCIJ2*-S aboard her horse, May B It's Me (Mabel).

This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to all of Tabby’s hard work and dedication. We wish her and Mabel every success and will be cheering them on throughout the competition. 🍀🐴

If you have proven experience leading teams on the floor and are ready to step into full departmental ownership, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Leweston School is seeking an energetic, organised, and approachable Head of Domestic Services.

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role is a fantastic transition into a full managerial position. You will take overall responsibility for our school’s housekeeping functions, ensuring our internal campus areas and boarding houses are flawlessly presented.

While you will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and budgets, we don't expect you to stay behind a desk all day. This is a hands-on, year-round role where you will lead by example—collaborating closely with your team, managing the high-tempo shift between term-time operations and holiday deep-cleaning schedules, and supporting our commercial letting activities.
