We are so incredibly thrilled to share that today, Vienna officially stepped out of her semi-retirement and back onto a film set! 🎬
A while ago, Vienna experienced a sudden spook on a job. Because our animals’ emotional and physical well-being always comes first, we made the decision to step back, give her space, and let her dictate her own pace.
Bringing an animal back to set after a fright isn’t about rushing the process—it’s about building a bridge of trust. And today, that bridge was built perfectly thanks to an absolutely incredible, patient, and cooperative crew.
Here is what successful animal work on set actually looks like:
Open Communication: Discussing the exact blocking, sudden movements, and sound levels before the cameras roll so there are no surprises for the animal.
A Collaborative Crew: Working with a team that understands that a calm animal is a safe animal, and adjusting the environment to support them.
Patience Over Pace: Allowing the animal time to acclimatize to the space, the actors, and the energy of the room.
When production and animal handlers work as a unified team, magic happens. We didn’t just complete the script over the last two days —we preserved a cat’s confidence and ensured she felt completely safe doing her job.
Thank you to the production team for proving that collaboration, kindness, and communication always win the day. Welcome back, Vienna! 👑❤️
