Indiana is a young neutered male cat (10-12 months old). He is very friendly and trusting. Indiana would love a nice home with a garden of his own and someone who would care for him.

We have just returned from Ireland yesterday, fully loaded with 38 unwanted kittens. Some are tabby and some black and white. Number of them have been inoculated and are ready for homing. Their ages vary between 6 weeks and 4 months. If you are looking for a kitten (or two) and would like to offer a loving home, then please let us know.

This is Hetty.
She is about 18 months old and comes from Ireland. Hetty, who was heavily pregnant at the time, was handed, together with her two half-grown kittens to a local vet, to be put down. The people who brought them in said that Hetty and her kittens had been living in their garden and they had been feeding them. As they didn’t want them there anymore, they decided to have them put down. A kind lady who happened to overhear this, took all three and a few days later, Hetty gave birth to four kittens. Two weeks later, the whole family were brought to London. Hetty’s older kittens were homed and now even two of her present litter have found homes. Hetty has now been neutered and inoculated and is ready to find a loving home herself. Hetty has had a tough life. At some point, somebody very nasty hacked off two thirds of her tail. Yet Hetty, in words of our vet, is an amazingly sweet-natured cat, full of love and affection. If you would like to offer Hetty a permanent home with a garden, please contact us.

Travel arrangements with the Republic of Ireland
All pets travelling from the Republic of Ireland to the UK should be microchipped,
vaccinated against rabies and accompanied by a pet passport. As both the Republic
of Ireland and the UK have had no indigenous rabies for many decades, compliance
checks on pets travelling between the two countries will not be applied. Pet owners
travelling with their pets should therefore not experience any change on the ground
from the 1st January.

The second National Feral Cat Awareness Week in Ireland takes place from 15th - 22nd October 2011. The aim of the week is to highlight the plight of feral and stray cats in our communities and promote trap/neuter/return as a humane effective solution to stop their uncontrolled breeding.
