Almo Nature, which produces high-quality food for cats and dogs, is investing to become a company with zero impact

on biodiversity by 2030. Our living and working alongside cats and dogs is not limited to the production of foods, but continues through Companion Animal for Life, a project of Fondazione Capellino, which Almo Nature supports operationally. By taking part in the Economy of Restitution, Almo Nature expresses, deeply and lastingly its identity as a company for benefit, making it unique on the world stage.

Welcome to Rocco and Lampo, which means 'lightning in Italian!

These two pups have officially joined the guard dog team at the Casentino Forest National Park in Italy.

Did you know that Almo Nature provides these guard dogs with free dog food all year round to support their wellbeing?

These dogs do an incredible job protecting farmers’ herds, helping to reduce attacks from wolves and making it easier for people and wildlife to coexist.

It’s a simple but effective way to protect livestock while also protecting wolves, which are essential to the balance of biodiversity 🐺

For years, the summer of 1976 has been used as evidence that concerns around climate change overstated. The argument is familiar. ‘It was hotter back then’. But the summer of 2026 tells a different story.

So far, this year has already recorded more days above 30°C, more days above 35°C and seen prolonged periods of extreme heat over several months. Large parts of England and Wales have officially declared drought after weeks of unusually dry weather. Rivers are running low, wildlife is under intense pressure and millions of people are living with water restrictions.

The climate our homes, infrastructure and natural environment is designed for is changing rapidly. The summer of 1976 was considered exceptional, but is no longer the benchmark it once was.

As these changes continue, protecting and restoring nature is essential. Wildlife simply can’t move or adapt overnight, making healthy habitats and thriving ecosystems more valuable than ever.

After costs and taxes, 100% of Almo Nature’s profits are allocated to Fondazione Capellino, supporting projects around the world that aim to give back to nature what is taken through production, helping to protect wildlife, restore biodiversity and respond to the impacts of climate change.
