🔴Over the Bank Holiday Weekend please keep your eyes peeled for Buddy & Daisy . Are they still in area or beyond . We at present just do not know . Bear in mind they maybe still together ,they may not be . Any neighbours .family or new dogwalkers out & about with one or two black cocker spaniels that have not been seen with one before please take note . Take a photo safely if you can , let us know if you think could be Buddy and/or Daisy

❗BREAKING: Beagle rescuer Lewis Elliot has been found not guilty of “handling stolen goods”.

Today, the judge discharged the jury from delivering a verdict, and cleared Lewis, on this charge. He now stands trial only for “burglary” for the “crime” of rescuing puppies from a short life of suffering. The trial continues.

This verdict was directed by the judge on purely factual grounds and has not impacted any other part of the case, for any other defendant.

The dismissal doesn’t change the law, but it makes the contradiction impossible to ignore: how can we call puppies “goods” while treating them as living beings everywhere else in our lives?

Most people would smash a car window to save a dog on a hot day- and not because they’re heroes, but because rescuing animals from harm is the right thing to do.

Beagles aren’t goods.
And rescue isn’t a crime.
