Oval Pet Centre Oval Pet Centre in Sidcup provides expert care for cats, dogs, and rabbits. Sidcup Practice is open Monday to Friday. Saturdays are emergency only.

Our services include vaccinations, consultations, microchipping, spaying, neutering, dental cleaning, and nail clipping. All consultations by appointment only. Welling and Eltham open Monday to Friday by appointment only. Please phone for more information. Sundays we are closed at all branches. We were lucky to have a visit last week from the beautiful Rufus, who first came to us as a puppy. After developing a sudden neurological issue, he unfortunately lost the use of his back legs. But today, he's as happy as ever—zipping around on his wheels and showing everyone just how well he's adapted! Great to see you Rufus and your lovely owners again!

Gorgeous Elsie out with her friends. Such a great time of year for those walks.
As you know Elsie recently gave her mum a real scare with a lump appearing that turned out to be cancerous.
The mass was removed with good margins all around, X-rays were completed to check that no nasty cells had migrated to internal organs and the lump was sent to the lab for grading on the type of cancer.
The report came back to say that ALL of the cancer had successfully been removed and that it was a lower grade form that hopefully won’t reappear.
Elsie was a champ throughout and never lost her sparkle. Animals are amazing.
The moral, don’t leave those lumps, get them checked. 🩵

Please make sure to collect any prescription requests by 10/10. After this date, prescriptions will be available for collection at our Welling branch instead.

Rest assured, our same friendly team, service, and opening hours will continue throughout this period at Welling. 🐾

💙 Lovely Loki came in today for his castration and a dental scale & polish! 🦷✨

He won over our whole nursing team with his sweet nature – and even decided he was a lap dog during his pre op check! 🐾💕 Our amazing student nurse Kate loved looking after him during his recovery.

Now his teeth are beautifully clean, shiny, and white again – and luckily, only a scale & polish was needed this time.

👏 Huge credit to Loki’s owner for spotting the plaque problem early, before it caused any lasting damage.

Our Sidcup branch will be closed for refurbishment from 13/10/25 until 12/11/25.

👉 Please make sure to collect any prescriptions by 10/10/25.
Any uncollected medication will be transferred to our Welling branch for collection.

💡 Don’t worry – we’ll still be open as normal at our Welling branch, with the same team and usual opening hours.
