Despite an association with extremely poor survival rates, this study reveals that outcomes can vary more widely than previously understood, particularly based on tumour location and treatment pathway.

New research from The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) shows that when given the choice, people in the UK actually prefer dogs with less extreme features 🐶

Flat-faced breeds like Pugs, Bulldogs, and Frenchies remain a popular choice for many, but their exaggerated body shapes can lead to serious health issues and lifelong suffering.

Choosing dogs with more moderate features could lead to healthier, happier lives for many, so we hope this research will improve the lives of countless animals who suffer as a result of their appearance.
