Big thanks to Tim 21st Century Farrier for showing us the Werkman Black gait analysis and Andrea for letting us use Bailey this afternoon ☺️ It was great to discuss how the angles of the hooves and the horses biomechanics can effect the rest of the musculoskeletal system.

It was great to have the opportunity to show Equine Massage Works how my HoofBeat (Werkman Black) gait analysis system works and to be able discuss how the angles of the hoof and the horses biomechanics can effect the musculoskeletal system.
Equine care works best when we all work together, the data collected can be shared, discussed and used not just by the farrier and owner but the horses physiotherapist and the horses veterinarian.
Thank you Marianne for the opportunity to show you the gait analysis system, Andrea for letting us use Bailey and of course Bailey for being our model.

Just a little snap shot look at the gait analysis system I use.

Farriery for the 21st century. The system i use has Bluetooth sensors which are placed on the horse’s hooves to digitally measure the horses gait. The data collected is then used to aid the trimming and shoeing process. #...
