THE happiest day of my life. And not an exaggeration.

Just picked up all my things from the cell, followed by my little bungoo.

The last 6 months have been complete and utter bonkers. I got Hep B, couldn’t walk, liver failed, nearly died, spent countless days in A+E, sold and bought a house, got sectioned, spent Christmas with my Mum and Dad in the same room, lost it to my loved ones on numerous occasions, realised who my true friends are and made amazing new ones.

I’d always hidden from health services as I feared being banged up. Bloody hell, if only it had of been that bad. It was fu***ng horrific on every level. How ‘they’ think those places make you recover is beyond me. On the outside, I’m better - I can walk, my heart beats at a normal rate, bla bla, but inside, nothing has changed. I’ve always said this and after this experience, it confirms it - the the only person / thing / whatever to make you better is yourself. I haven’t ‘done well’ in there as people keep saying. I’ve been basically a lab rat, being force fed for 5 months, with no choices on anything, barely leaving my room. Fed liquid, not even food. Anyone would ‘do well’ in that environment. It’s near impossible to translate this to every day life. The real hard work is now.

Admission….the inevitable and my deepest fears all playing out before my eyes. The biggest positive is the most incredible friends a person could ask for. Forever grateful 😊 I don’t deserve this as my behaviour has been most definitely off wack on numerous occasions this past year🥴and am the epicentre of worry and chaos. I cannot see the light right now, so posting this pic as it gives off a sense of calm 😇
