Happy 4th birthday to our Jenny. She’s the hungriest, sneakiest, cuddliest, best neck warmer and hunter. Never happiest that when she’s on the scent of something - even if it ends with a roll in fox 💩 🤦🏻‍♀️. Wouldn’t have her any other way 🐶🎁

Happy 1st birthday to Sorrel & all her litter mates. She’s a whirlwind who never stops, but a very clever, carbon copy of her mum Ivy! Always looking to carry something, has a great nose for hunting and usually found tormenting another of the ‘big’ dogs. We hope all her litter mates are doing well in their new families 🐶

Happy 3rd birthday to Ollie & his litter mates. He has grown into the best natured, loveliest big lad & definitely happiest out & about. He’s got a great nose for hunting & will pick up anything, so we couldn’t be happier with him. We hope his litter mates are doing as well & look forward to any updates you might want to share 🐶

Sorrel is sporting a lovely little pink number thanks to a wee operation at the vet! Sorrel will retrieve & carry anything, but unbeknown to us, she decided to swallow a fairly large stone which lodged in her small intestine 😫 Late Friday afternoon she started being sick. She didn’t want her tea, but was still drinking & running around, so figured it was something she ate. By Saturday morning it was clear she was worse, very lethargic and still wasn’t keeping anything down, so a trip to the vet (it’s always the weekend🙄). A blockage was suspected & confirmed by x-ray, so by lunchtime on Saturday, she had the op to remove the stone. She is back home today with meds but definitely a much happier wee dog than she was yesterday! Lesson to us in watching what she’s picking up & glad to know that prompt action prevented the situation becoming much more dangerous for her 🐶 Thanks to the team at Capontree Vets who care for our wee pack.
