As many of you know, I run Hop to the Rescue, giving unwanted and abandoned rabbits the second chance they deserve. Sadly, costs are rising fast — from housing and safe enclosures to food, bedding, and vet care.

🐇 Rabbit Welfare Matters 🐇

Rabbits are the UK’s 3rd most popular pet – yet sadly, they are also one of the most misunderstood and neglected.

Too often, rabbits are bought as “easy starter pets” and left in small hutches with little space, poor diets, or without a companion. In reality:
✨ Rabbits need at least 10ft x 6ft of space to run, hop, and binky.
✨ Their diet should be 85% hay, with fresh greens and only a small amount of pellets.
✨ Rabbits are social animals – they thrive with another rabbit friend.
✨ They deserve love, enrichment, and safety just like any other pet.

👉 Let’s break the myths, raise awareness, and give rabbits the care they deserve.
