We will be recommencing the rehoming of dogs from foster homes in June 2022.

Happy 12th April everyone as we enjoy the new freedoms.

Good news for Humphry, he has gone into his forever home after being with us for just over a month.

A fifteen month old Great Dane has suffered through a lack of socialisation throught the lockdowns but has progressed well.

Taragh Humprey, hope all works out for you.

We will be recommencing the rehoming of dogs from foster homes in June 2022

All rescue centres are now operating similar procedures:

1 - Only accepting Visitors by appointment.
2 - No open viewing of dogs.
3 - Online Applications.
4 - Circulating available dogs to suited applicants.

But on occasions, some dogs struggle to find homes under this routine, dogs like Duke. He has had his details circulated to over 2,000 applicants and not one uptake.

Duke arrived with us at the beginning of February and soon established himself as a firm favorite with everyone that knows him. Whilst he can still get concerned around other dogs he has developed a fun-loving personality and loves interacting with people.

Duke is a seven year old male that has a neglected past without much TLC, he enjoys lots of cuddles and being groomed and he is very clean in his kennel. He knows how to sit wait leave and he has a good recall Duke enjoys his training sessions.

If you could consider giving duke a forever home, please drop us an email [email protected]

Our Story

All the animals on these pages are desperately in need of a loving home, the majority of which having came to us after being found stray. We do not take hand-ins from the general public. We are the only rescue on Merseyside dealing with local stray dogs, relying totally on public support. You may not know that we receive no government or lottery funding, which means we rely on donations from our supporters. We work closely with dog warden services of Merseyside to take in, rehabilitate and rehome the unclaimed and unwanted stray dogs in this area. We look after lost dogs, providing them with shelter, food, and medical care. We care very much for the animals in our charge. We all work long hours and devote our lives to the welfare of these dogs. We do not put any animals to sleep to make room for other dogs.
