Beautiful sisters, Penny and Bonnie were in today for laparoscopic neutering. Happy and bouncy when they came in and equally happy, bouncy and waggy, when they went home……. their mum was so pleased ❤️ Even after sixteen years of offering laparoscopic surgery, Mr Gemmill said he is still in wonder, as to how quickly his patients recover ☺️

Remy is a gorgeous miniature Schnauzer who recently came in for some dental treatment with Mr Gemmill. Her lovely parents brought in a wee thank you gift. ❤️
Luckily for the team Mr Gemmill wasn’t in…. he’d have scoffed those chocolate delights in no time 😂

Last week, staff supervisor Dottie the Cockapoo helped patient care assistant Carmen to check our ordering before moving on to getting the practice ready to close up for the evening.

Dottie ensured that we had everything we needed for the following day and that her high cleaning standards were maintained, even getting her owner, Hayley the vet, to sweep and mop 🌟

Thank you, Dottie, for keeping everyone in check and for all your hard work ✅️

Another fine example of Mr Gemmill working hard 😂
In between surgeries he had the enormous pleasure of meeting Star and Jef - two beautiful Ragdolls. They were so well behaved and completely at home, and unphased by their first vaccinations and microchips. ❤️

🌟 Ingram the Golden Retriever 🌟

Ingram came to us recently to be neutered, and as you can see, he recovered so well that as soon as he came in for his post operative check with vet Marisa, he thought he'd show everyone how well he was doing while getting a massive fuss!

Well... we assume he was just being helpful, he may have been rolling on the floor laughing at Marisa wearing Christmas socks in June... 👀🍬

It's so important to us that our patients come back to us feeling well and happy to see us, proving that the vets isn't such a bad place to be after all! 😊

📱If you'd like to discuss neutering options for your pets, please do give us a call on 0151 644 8918 or book online for a free pre-neuter check with one of our friendly vets or nurses!

🚙 Did you know... Medivet New Ferry offer house visits? 🚙

😺 Introducing Dwayne the cat and his lovely owner who make the most of having our vet Marisa visit their home, as Dwayne isn't a fan of travelling to the clinic. Dwayne avidly waits for us at the window to receive treats, a cuddle, and treatments!

🚙 House visits are a great option, bringing healthcare to your doorstep

🚙 We can reduce stress by avoiding carriers, car rides and anxious waiting rooms by providing stress-free consultations, vaccinations, and more, in the safety of their own environment.

❤️ It can be an easier option for owners with multiple pets or for those who may have trouble getting to the clinic due to reduced mobility or lack of transport means.

😽 Being at home can help to senior pets comfortable, particularly those with long-term health conditions, such as arthritis.

🕑 Home visits can be more convenient for owners who work from home or have a very busy schedule

🪽 We can provide compassionate end of life care at home

For more advice or to book a house visit, please call the clinic on 0151 644 8918

😿 We have had an elderly female tortoiseshell domestic short haired cat bought in to our Bromborough surgery having been found in the Gleeston area. She has white paws and is chipped but it is unfortunately not registered, meaning that we can't contact the owners. She is safe in the practice currently and has a warm bed and food, she does appear underweight 😿

Please call the practice during their opening hours on 0151 334 1355 if you or someone you know may be missing her ❤️
