Recall isn't just about using a singy song voice and clapping your hands! ❌
In fact , this is often the problem!
Owners come to me for recall help because they've only been taught to screech and run away while their puppy has done restrained recalls in puppy classes 😮
That isn't practical, and it sets no one up for success.
It doesn't translate into the real world because you've not taught a recall cue, you've taught your dog to run to novel things.
