Summer is here!!

We hope all paws have found a shady spot to rest their paws this afternoon.

Unlike us who sweat in this heatwave 🥵; cats and dogs regulate their temperature through their paws 🐾 , which can be really difficult on hot grounds 🔥

🌡️In order to keep pets cool on these hot days:

Leave walks, strenuous exercise, and play to the cooler hours of the day 🐕 🚶

Keep water bowls / fountains ⛲️ topped up

Ensure outdoor areas include access to a shady spot ☁️

Consider cool mats (or damp towels can work just as well!)

🐾 Meet Monty 🐾

Monty is a super busy collie who loves to be involved in everything (and I mean everything). He is a very good boy, and will try to protect his whole street from cars, vans, and most importantly, the postie 🤣

Monty’s owners had tried everything to keep him busy and reduce his barking, but he wasn’t interested in his toys or working for his rewards, until he started to get our mussels in his stimulating toys.

So far Monty’s owners have seen a brilliant increase in his attention span with his toys when they add his Meaty Munchies treats into the mix.

He is one of our taste testers here at MM, and he’s made it very clear he loves his mussels!!

As you can see, Monty is teaching his little brother how to play too, which in turn is helping reinforce good behaviours in his brothers and sisters too!
