🤯Recently we applied some Plastic EasyCare Inc. Protective Hoofwear shoes, for a dressage horse.🤯

👟This shoe is lightweight aswell as hard wearing.

👟It provides flexibility in the hoof capsule allowing natural expansion of the heels due to its plastic flexibility .

👟Having an appropriate wide bar across the caudal part of the foot helps with 360 degree stability.

👟Also allowing anti concussive properties.

This horse in question we have received some great feed back regarding these.

These are ordered in per horse that needs them, so if you would like to try them please let us know before hand so we can make sure they are in stock 👍

🏆🐎Well…..what a fantastic weekend for DS Farrier Ltd Horses! 🐎🏆

First of all my partner BH Equine- Freelance Groom & Rider stormed through the weekend with :
Tenelick diamond Rose🥇🏆1st in the 95 and 1m . (Stands currently 1st in the East Midlands bronze league)
Cytrus Z 🏆🥇1st in the 90 at and 🥉 .(Currently stands 8th in the East Midlands bronze league.)

Both horses also competed in the bronze league qualifiers.

Jessica Shepard at Nottinghamshire county show had:
Like a Dino 🥇1st in the 90cm and 5th in the 1m.
Lon Mac🥇1st in the 1m and 🥈 in the 90cm

Rachel Buckleys Sunstars Contador collected his HOYS ticket in the open section a class .
Fantastic result them, breeding there own at the stud and producing fantastic ponies 👏

Kayleigh Hughes with Gladis at Nottinghamshire county show managed a 8th out of 21 in a coloured class this weekend 👏

Fantastic results by all horses that are under the care by us .

🔸Wooden Clogs🔸

Pair of wooden clogs, for this morning down at Park Hall Veterinary Clinic, a horse with a multitude of ailments.

These provide stabilisation in the hoof capsule and also a hypo-dynamic effect as-well.

This meaning influencing more blood to be pumped around the foot allowing repair to happen.

With the “bowl” like effect of the clog bevelled of all around the foot, this in turn takes strain off the laminae, ligaments which in turn makes easier work for the muscles to engage.

This is important for horses in rehabilitation.
These can be used in rehabilitation for ailments such as :
-Laminitis
-Navicular
-Collateral ligament strain
And many more….

Great practice to work with always on had and works as a team for safe working conditions and best outcome for the equine 🤘

✨🎉Well last couple of weeks have been great for some of the horses I shoe✨🎉

Starting of with my partners BH Equine- Freelance Groom & Rider competing at Bluechip Showjumping Winter Championships 2026 with Tenelick Diamond Rose.
Fantastic results all week but topping of the week, with a win in the 🥇1m Open Championship.

Then last weekend , Izzy White Eventing at the NAF 5* Winter Championships.

Placing 1st in her Novice Silver Final 🥇on Quatango

And also 🥉 in the prelim finals on Sir Quattrohall.

Gemma Jones with Maggie 2nd in petplan winter championships 🥈

Fantastic to see horses doing well out and about 🤘🎉
